Teraflops Make Me Tingly
WWDC 2017: Developers' Reactions.
Leo Laporte, Rene Ritchie, and Alex Lindsay are out this week, so Andy Ihnatko takes over the show and brings in a panel of developers to discuss Apple's 2017 Worldwide Developers Conference. HomePod is Apple's answer to the Amazon Echo and Google Home, but with a big focus on music and quality sound. The new 18 core iMac Pro might just fill that Mac Pro-sized hole in your heart. The new 10.5" iPad Pro gets some new iOS 11 features that bring it closer to being the only computer you need. iOS 11 also brings a slew of features, including peer-to-peer payments, augmented reality features, and machine learning. On the Mac side, macOS High Sierra improves on Sierra with Metal 2, virtual reality features, and external GPU support.
