Titanfall's anti-cheat system
We hate cheaters as much as you do, Article.
- Titanfall uses "FairFight" by GameBlocks to determine if a player is cheating.
- They detected cheating from the release of the game, but they waited... noting cheaters, but not taking any action.
- If you were detected using an aimbot or otherwise trying to game the network, starting on Friday, March 21st, you started you game in a private lobby with the simple message "FairFight Cheat Detected"
- You can keep playing Titanfall... BUT ONLY WITH OTHER CHEATERS!
Tweaks for Gaming
- Fixing V-Sync Problems, you need to disable the in game option for v-sync and open your graphic card options.
Disabling Intro Videos and More
- To disable the intro videos go to Orgin, right click on your Titanfall Icon and go to "Game Properties" from there you can add "- novid"
- You can also do "- high" to force Titanfall to load as high CPU prioity
- If you want to make sure you're getting 60fps use the command "+cl_showfps 1" and you'll see in the top right corner your fps
- Finally if you want to ensure having smoothness, disable or set shadows to low
Reducing Adobe Premiere Bloat
Users of Adobe Premiere Pro may find their drives inexplicably filling to capacity. The problem is that Adobe creates a cache of rendered files in the "Common" folder. Over time, these files can add up to tens or even 100s of Gigabytes. You can safely delete these cached render files and Adobe will simply recreate them if you ever need to open those projects, but first... you have to find the folder.
Enable the Viewing of Hidden Folders
- Start
- Control Panel
- Folder Options
- Select the "View" Tab
- "Show hidden files, folders and drives"
Navigate to your Adobe Common Media Folder
- "My Computer"
- "C:"
- "Users"
- "(Your User Name)"
- "AppData"
- "Roaming"
- "Adobe"
- "Common"
- "Media Cache Files"
Delete Everything in the folder!
