Tip: Format Pasted Text to Match the Rest of Your Document

Beckey Worley, tech correspondent for Good Morning America, has a tip to save you some time when copying and pasting text into a Word document. Whenever you paste text from a website, it usually is formatted all wrong -- whether it be a different size, color, or perhaps it's in the dreaded Comic Sans font.

There's an easy way to clear the formatting of that pasted text, though. Just highlight the text you just pasted into the Word document, then hold down the Control key and press the Space Bar. This will automatically format all of that highlighted text to match the existing text in the document. It will instantly make it the same size, color, and font.
